Amazing
I was outside doing yard work because it is sunny and about 70 degrees today, feels more like spring than fall. I had stopped to take a break on the front porch when I saw something flit into my mums. I blinked, as surely it had to be a trick of the light! Then I saw the movement again, switching to a different part of the bush. I got up to investigate. It was indeed what I had thought it was: a butterfly!
October 21 in Michigan and there is a butterfly feeding in my garden!
