Whew. A Preacher had been in the works since 2006, but HBO mercifully killed it.

I saw Beowulf this weekend, the new CGI movie. I liked the beginning and I liked the end, but not so much the middle part with Grendel's mother. It seriously deviated from the story. On the other hand, they kept in Beowulf's boasting and the final battle with the dragon. It was much better than the usual adaptations where Beowulf not only lived ( Read more... )
