My brother lost his job today because he wasn't working fast enough and for goofing off. Way to go, kid. He didn't really have to do anything to get the job (yay nepotism) and he goes off and screws that up.
If I do end up going to Texas, I'm probably going to be traveling by train. Travel is loads cheaper and I can check three suitcases, plus bring two on board and I believe my laptop wouldn't be included in those two. This way, I can bring my essentials (read: books) instead of having them shipped down to me. Also, I love trains. The drawback would be that I would be on a train for almost twenty-six hours. Assuming nothing changes, I would take a train to Chicago, which is about three and a half hours, then, if I'm not mistaking, a train down to Dallas, which is about twenty-two hours. Not to mention four hours in Chicago. But, it would be worth it.
