I linked to this from another journal, so my friends could follow, but I'm not even sure now whether I need or want them to read this.  I mean, I'd be all right with it if they did, but y'know.

I doubt this will be pretty or sweet or heartwarming.  But it will be necessary for me, and maybe it will help someone else too.

We shall see.
