My girls had their first soccer game of the spring season yesterday. Their team was doing poorly, or perhaps the other team was doing well, but in any case, at half-time, the coaches decided to mix the teams up and let our team have some goals. YAY! It went so smooth this morning!

I tried not to hype it up too much as I wanted them to sleep ok and not get R's tummy upset, and that did ok. There were 8 girls that showed up, 1 less than expected, so not bad. Good size for the party, everyone got to interact with everyone else, I think. The water was bloody cold LOL but some of the girls were padded enough that they didn't care. Well, I talked to the principal on the phone and we were both dying laughing at my Kindergartener Miscreant. LOL She said she took both girls aside (guess who the accomplice was? Pete and I spent the morning doing our judging assignments - 10 projects each. We were paired with other folks, so I didn't see much of him until we were done. I ended up paired with a student's mother - my assigned partner had to leave suddenly as he received a page to go to the hospital. Get this. He was Pete's Neurologist! omg, people who do this all the time just don't get it, but damn it's nice. My kitchen is CLEAN, my table is CLEAN, I've graded the last discussion for my software class and answered q's in my math class, updated the gradebook for both, ordered the CDs for both classes I get in the Spring at NTU.
