It's My Birthday!
Happy birthday to me! Well, not happy yet since I am stuck at work right now. So other than Maddi calling to sing me Happy Birthday and dozens of birthday wishes on Facebook so far, I feel more excitedly eager for what comes later than joyous in this moment. I guess I actually am kind of happy. I just don't want to be at work.
I can't wait for the pub crawl tonight. I am hoping I can get off work early so I can shower and change before meeting up with folks at the Elder Tree. While I doubt there's is much I can do to change the fact that I won't have a birthday bed buddy this year, I still would rather not look and feel like I have the dreary stain of corporate drudgery on me while I celebrate with my friends
