Two weeks until Torchsong!
Okay, technically 13 days. But I wasn't online yesterday.
What is Torchsong? It's a convention/cabaret evening devoted to the BBC show Torchwood, the spin-off from Doctor Who. I love the character of Captain Jack Harkness, and the opportunity to meet the actor, John Barrowman, was too good to pass up. Apparently, he doesn't get to the US often, and Torchsong is being held in Chicago, which is only four hours away. Yay! Something that's actually nearby that interests me! And he's going to sing - which is what makes this is part cabaret - and I love guys who sing. Can't wait!
Don't be surprised if I pop up with several fangirlish entries as the event draws closer - I love cons, and I'm getting really excited about the chance to be a fangeek among other fangeeks. Doesn't happen often enough.
