I was going to write up the Gally masquerade, but found myself lacking motivation.  So instead I'm doing another pointless entry.  It kind of gives you a feel for just how pointless my life is at the moment.  Heh.  It also proves that I'm a single-minded fangeek.  I should probably find this more alarming than I actually do.

It sounds like I need to drag you to the Renaissance Faire in Bristol, WI this summer.

I go for most of the season, usually dressed up as the Fourth Doctor, but last year on closing weekend, I "regenerated" into my fifth incarnation.

It is a World Market, actually, one I never noticed because it's sort of tucked away just off the main road.

You dress as the Doctor at a ren faire? Awesome, and quite appropriate (though you probably get some strange looks, don't you?)

I'm trying to figure out how that'd go, me dressing as a Femme!Ten and telling the queen that I'm cosplaying a male character that may or may not have married her in a show, among other things, and could we re-enact that? I might end up re-creating the end of 'The Shakespeare Code' instead. :)

I don't get as many strange looks as you'd think. Most Faire attendees are quite the geek/nerds, you see, so they get the joke.

If I can get you to come along, you'll see how it is! :D
