Another random entry.
I was going to write up the Gally masquerade, but found myself lacking motivation. So instead I'm doing another pointless entry. It kind of gives you a feel for just how pointless my life is at the moment. Heh. It also proves that I'm a single-minded fangeek. I should probably find this more alarming than I actually do.
*I did my usual weekend walkabout. I found a place that sells Jelly Babies! In Michigan! Right down the road from me!
*My plushie Ten (assuming I ever get to make him) is going to be a case of art imitating real life. I stopped by the good will, and found a pair of pants made of the same fabric I'd been eyeing for the plushie's suit, for about half the price of a yard of fabric. So, much like David Tennant's outfit, his suit will be made of pants. I was amused.
*I ended up at Joanne's Fabrics again, and this time discovered that they actually do have patterns. I have a couple of ideas now for Femme!Ten outfits, which I will hopefully have in time for Gally 2011.
*Yeah. I've decided that I want to go to Gally again next year. Forty-nine weeks to save up for it!
*While flipping through the patterns, I found some for historical costumes, including a Queen Elizabeth outfit. And I couldn't help but think... is it weird of me that I think it'd be fun to team up with a Queen Elizabeth and have some not-at-all-slashy hijinks? *smiles weakly*
