Winter II: Revenge of the Blizzard
Oh. Joy. After a handful of days where the weather is not just tolerable, but gorgeous (40-50 degrees after twenty days below freezing!) we're getting one of Michigan's lovely temperature plunges this weekend, involving a nasty snowstorm with icy rain and below freezing temperatures. Argh! I hate this area so much...
And, to further add to my disgust with Michigan, the new governor just unveiled his budget plan, which takes away our tax incentives for movies filmed here, which is going to drive off another source of income. Oh, Michigan, you don't miss an opportunity to screw yourself over, do you? I was hoping to maybe see some of the filming for The Avengers and the next Batman film over in Detroit, and perhaps even try to get some work as an extra, but chances are, this will drive them away.
This has to be my last year here, because I can't take it any more.
