Drugs

I'm taking a Community Health Nursing class this semester. Because it has a clinical component I have to have a drug test. No big deal. I'm clean. But in order to have the drug test done I have to have sign an agreement get two people to witness me and then get it notarized. Big giant pain in the ass. I have a professional license I understand what would happen to me if I tested positive for drugs, I don't need to sign a piece of paper saying I understand, I understand.

Anyway, while I'm there I run into my brother, I guess technically he's an ex-step-brother. It's was very strange. Our parents have been divorced now for nine years. In those nine years I've talked to him maybe... three times. It's odd to have lived with someone for ten years and be family for an additional five years and then just not talk again. We exchanged the customary How have you been? How's ------------- doing. That's good. Yeah ________ is going well. Then some awkward pauses a See you around and then that's it.

Nothing else, but what else could there be?
