Took a fairly long nap around six-thirty; though is six+ hours really a nap? Guess it is for me. It continues to feel awesome to be able to just go and lay down without fear of being interrupted by my body. Oh, I got up once or twice, but that's nothing compared to the five or six times when I was connected. Such bliss.
Now that things have begun to calm down I want to turn my thoughts to creative endeavors. I had a hit of inspiration yesterday morning for a new story, which I'll prolly be using for NaNo this year. I couldn't participate last year because of work and a lack of ideas. I was able to hammer out a pitch of the major plot points; here's hoping I don't hit too many walls while writing the smaller details! In the meantime, I'm reading Le Morte D'Arthur for both research and pleasure. To keep things simple, I might only do a few of the Knights, and it's not like I have to follow it to the letter. Tweaks are acceptable. And necessary. It's supposed to be a YA fantasy, not an essay on King Arthur.
I have to remember to phone Liberator and ask for a box of the 1 inch wafers. Kratos has shrunk enough to warrant a smaller opening. Yes, I named my stoma Kratos. I might have mentioned this in another post. A snug fit is crucial to preventing skin problems and leaks. That and I use fewer barrier strips and seals when it fits well. I mean, it's not like the wafers I have now are OMGSOBIG, especially when I remember that the 1 inch wafers were big with the old stoma and I only really had leaks because of the weird dent on the right side of the stoma.
Oof, am I still tired or are my eyes burning because I'm looking at the screen? I should probably think about making Serena's food before long, though I like to have the breakfast ready around when she wakes up. I'd like to get a little Skyrim in before I have to mess up the kitchen again, though. Should do that now that I'm fed and happy. Need more tea, though. Bathroom first.
