I want to make one of these, but my journal won't let me make a public post since my default is friends only. I guess I can make it public then private again, but that somehow feels like a lot of work *is extremely lazy*

I love how you mentioned you rant about your job in your journal...I do the same thing with mine. pretty much 24/7, because that's how often the crap happens. problem is where I work, the clients are always angry, always unsatisfied, and that makes for a lot of angry and bitter co-workers. ugh.
it's nice to find people who AREN'T into slash/Wincest, and who respect and love Danneel and Genevieve like myself. :) there don't seem to be many out there, sadly. it seems like every fandom I've joined is taken over by the slash peeps, and I've been smoked out of one as a result. :(
Sometimes LJ is where I try to put my job into perspective. Writing it out helps me to step back and think about. It's difficult to lie to myself about my own part in whatever happened if I'm planning to post the event for others to evaluate. Kinda keeps me more honest. That, and I sometimes just need to vent. My job doesn't deal with angry clients (oh hon, I feel for you!) but stupid and unnecessarily cut-throat situations abound.
Yeah, that slash/wincest thing. Makes me feel like the red-headed stepchild sometimes. And I do respect the ladies. Even if i didn't, I kinda figure that if I love and respect the boys as much as I do, I should trust them to pick women who are good enough for themselves. If these ladies really do make them happy, then they're awesome! Did that make any sense? :D

yeah, the anger level at my job is really bad, which doesn't fit well for someone who is naturally happy and pleasant like me. :(
