icons, vids, and insomnia
I uploaded a little over 20 new icons. Lots of animated ones. They're really cool! Check'em out!
And I changed my keyword system so I can find what I'm looking for easier, which means that most of my old ones will revert to default. It also means that choosing the perfect icon will be much less of an issue in the future, so I guess it's worth the temporary hassle.
I can't sleep. I think it's because I drank a 20 oz Dr. Pepper with dinner tonight and it's got my body in overdrive after almost a month with little or no caffeine. The other option is that I'm worried about my upcoming trip and everything I have to do before I leave, but I'm blaming the soda.
Since I can't sleep, I'm playing. And watching vids. You know what that means? Pimping time!! I added four more vids to my favorites list today. That almost doubles the list I've been building for months. Either I was directed to some really good vids today or my poor sleep-deprived brain has cracked. You be the judge.
The first two were recced by gaelicspirit yesterday.. uhm.. the day before...? I dunno... I've lost track of my days. Anyway, gaelic recced these recently, so if you follow her, you've likely seen them. If not, here are two must-sees.
This first one is kindof a recap of the last five seasons. At almost 8 minutes, it's a bit long, but totally worth every second. Beautifully pieced together, it really shows the emotion and passion of the brothers' story.
This one is a fanmade promo for Season 6. If any of my friends have already recced this and I missed it, I apologize. I've been hit and miss on LJ lately. But it's really so good it's almost as satisfying as the real promos that were released lately, and totally deserves to be recced many times over.
This one you may have seen posted on some Dean communities recently (I found it on hurt_dean), or maybe you're already friends with the very talented vidder. But for those of you who haven't, I'd hate for you to miss out. Here's a wonderful vid by novembersguest.
To leave things on a lighter note, this one really struck my funny bone. It's an old one made by the amazingly wonderful raloria. Hope you enjoy it too.
