I'm off to Sheridan this morning for my first DD Planning Council meetings. Today is orientation, then tomorrow a full day and half a day on Friday. I hope its good stuff knowing my short attention span.
I'm looking forward to it and hope it's an opportunity to make a difference.
I've had a slow couple of weeks. The liver is definitely unhappy. The fatigue factor is WAY up and I feel drained much of the time. When I get home, I'm supposed to go have the AFP repeated and another liver panel. We'll see what's going on. In another week, the study information is going to be released by the NIH and perhaps those of us in the non-responder group will get a shot at a new interferon cocktail. I'm ready to start again, I get a little anxious when the liver starts acting up.
A very nice woman is taking both of my Angora Rabbits.
http://bhmalpacas.com/ is her website - she makes some really neat stuff. She lives just south of Sheridan so I'm going to haul them up in the truck on my way. I think I will ask her for a hat or something once she has figured out how she wants to blend the fiber. Alpaca and Angora, wow, that should be lovely.
We are getting a major cool down bringing highs for the next week in the 70s. Jeez, bring. it. on. This has been a wicked hot summer.
No interest in Fi yet, but I know it will come. What a sweetheart. I think I will ride Jed a bit this weekend since it's going to be nice.
Need to finish packing and get ready.
