Legends of Tomorrow 4x08 -SPOILERS!!!-
I’ve only watched this once so far, but I really enjoyed it. Charlie kind of drove me crazy in this episode with her insistence on doing things her way. I understand why. I’d want to keep my powers too, especially if they came with immortality. I also understand not wanting to take someone else’s opinion on how to do things, but her behavior still drove me a little nuts. Not that John was much better. I think I just felt a bit more sympathetic towards him because he wanted to save Dez.
I figured that Zari was a cat because of the fairy godmother, nice to see I was right about that. I loved Zari cat (who is played by a male cat named Charlie according to Tala Ashe’s twitter).
I thought this episode was a lot of fun. The Custodians of the Chronology were amusing. Though it’s weird seeing Ray be so murder happy, even with monsters.
I loved the “sounds like the annual cross-over” nod, but I still really missed having them be part of the cross-over.
The puppets were amusing. I also liked the end when Ava and Mick were bonding over his book and snickerdoodles.
So...project Hades is like actually connected to hell? Okay then.
Waiting until April is going to be so hard!!!
The Elseworlds Crossover (pt. 1 - pt. 3) -SPOILERS!!!-
I enjoyed this a lot. The whole Barry - Oliver switcheroo was fun. I liked that Iris finally believed Barry. I liked them going to get Supergirl. I thought Oliver having to deal with all the hugging and touching that is a vital part of Barry’s life very amusing.
I liked how Oliver thought Batman was an urban legend and doesn’t even like the idea of him really existing. The Felicity/Oliver tension was sad. I’m not watching Arrow anymore these days because it’s too grimdark, but I do read stuff about what’s going on from time to time.
Kate Kane was pretty cool. I liked her interactions with Kara the best.
I’m not very knowledgeable about most of the DC comics universe so a lot of the stuff in here kind of goes over my head. But it was fun, even though I missed the Legends a lot. I didn’t love this as much as the last couple of crossovers. Not sure if that’s just because I missed the Legends or if it was something else. Another issue I had was that this was the last Flash episode before Winter break and there was no Christmas bit. Usually, The Flash has a bit of a nod to the holiday with the episode before the break but nothing here because of the crossover. Last year there was one more episode before the break after the crossover. So, that made me oddly grumpy. Weird.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (no spoilers)
I kind of loved this show. A lot. I watched the Solstice episode too and that was a lot of fun as well. I just really enjoyed the whole thing and after the first couple of episodes, I ended of devouring it rather quickly. I don’t like Harvey though and kind would like him to just go away, though I have a feeling that’s not going to happen.
Chicago Med (no spoilers)
Watching this was a mistake but I ran out of stuff to watch and I wanted background TV that was new and it was a very bad idea. I generally avoid medical shows because of anxiety in general and medical anxiety in particular. I should have stayed away because it did make my anxiety a lot worse.
Legacies 1x07 (no spoilers)
I am really enjoying this show. I wasn’t even going to give it a try, but I’m glad I did. Alaric was always my favorite on The Vampire Diaries.
