I came back from NYC today. Can't believe I am here again already, it feels like I only just left.

I think there's no way around it: I have to convince J to go to NYC for a couple of years before I can allow him to return to Chicago. That is, if he plans on taking me when he goes back...

I am a bit shocked, actually. I just found out that Else Buschheuer left New York to host a German TV show. She left New York! For Leipzig.

She is the closest thing to a role model I ever had. Now, without warning, while I plan my escape to, she returns from NYC. Then again, one short-haired, platinum blonde German goes, another one comes...

Broke. Happy. Mind-blown. Tired.
