First anatomy (gross AND histo) practical is Monday. I'm damn scared of that. I think it the format of the exam that scares me. It's unfamiliar territory (bodies!!). At least I am feeling much better about the material than I have been. Once I get down the innervation and vascular portions of the back and upper limbs, I'll be in good shape.
Some good news is that I have my summer travel plans. I will going on an Alaskan inner passage cruise with Mom, Dad and Levi. The Princess Cruise Line ship leaves from Seattle on Aug 4th and returns Aug 11th. It ports in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan Alaska and Victoria, Britsh Columbia. I'm damn excited. While I know it's probably not the best way to experience most of Alaska, I will still have the chance to see so much, such as the Yukon. I still need to find roundtrip airfare though. I think I'll find it cheaper as the time nears. I also need a good long lens for the trip. I only have my 50mm F1.8 and the kit (18-55mm) lens. The kit lens will work well for the scenery pictures but I'd like something longer for other situations (like whale watching).
Other news is that I think I have a job as a surgery tech this summer. Mom talked to someone about me taking the job of a girl that is a current MS2 since she can't due to Step 1.
Also, really digging the new songs by Modest Mouse (Dashboard) and The Good, The Bad and The Queen (Herculean).
