Where: Hufflepuff common room

After narrowly escaping Tifa's inquistion, Cho nearly bolted over to Hufflepuff. She and Cedric had to talk.
Cedric layed boredly in his common room. He wanted to go to sleep but...Riku and Sora were using up the dorm for now; talking abour Sora's problems and well...He couldn't go to sleep until thatwas over.
Glancing over her shoulder every few minutes, Cho bit her lip and knocked hastily on the door. "Ced!"
Cedric rolled off the couch and onto the floor. Was that someone calling his name? Cedrci made his way over to the painting and opened it lazily.
"Yesm?"
"Ced! Thank god," Cho breathed. "We really, really need to talk."
Oh boy...This didn't sound good.
"Sure," He murmered softly. "come on in."
Cedric moved aside and once Cho was inside the common room he shut the door. He then made his way back over to the couch and sat down.
She flopped down into the chair relievedly and exhaled, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I don't know what we need to talk about, exactly," she admitted. "But ah... Oh! Okay. Is... is anyone... y'know... teasing you about me?"
Cedric raised his eyebrows amusedly and then shook his head and laughed softly. "No, why? Is someone giving you a hard time about me?'
She pouted. "Don't get me wrong... I don't regret saying yes to you. That's the last thing I regret." Poutpoutpout. "But I'm getting kinda tired of everyone giving me those 'oh just admit you're dating already!' talks.*
Cedric frowned a little and scratched the back of his head. "Well we can't know if we're dating or not unless we go on the first date and see if we wanna go on another, right?"
"That's what I'm telling people..." She looked over at him and for a moment she felt the urge to go over and be close him. She quickly looked away. "I dunno..."
Cedric blinked a little bit and then grinned. "And you want to know if that's alright with me?"
"Like I said, I dunno." Somewhere in the back of her mind she acknowledged that she probably just wanted an excuse to talk to him. In a quiet voice, she admitted this.
"Oh.." Cedric said softly. He wouldn't admit this dissipointed him but...he understood it too.
Cho bit her lip, and repeated herself a little louder, hoping he'd hear it this time.
Cedric blinked a little when he thought he heard Cho say she just...Wanted to see him? Cedric couldn't help but smile softly and then skoot a little closer to her.
"Cho...Relax.."
She bit her lip again, starting to lose the 'always cool under pressure' talent she had built up over the years. Cho coughed, trying not to blush. "I-I'm trying," she said, trying to joke despite her obvious nervousness.
Cedric smiled gently and held out his hand to her like he had done before. He hoped he could calm her down even the slightest bit. He wanted Cho to be comfortable around him, not a nervous wreck.
With a small blush, Cho swallowed and reached out to take his hand. She scooted a bit closer to him. "...I really like you, Ced..."
Cedric felt his smile grow wider as he himself skooted closer again. "I really lie you too, Cho."
"So... what does that make us...?" she asked, daring a glance up at him.
"Whatever you're comfortable with" Cedric said quietly.
She chewed on her lip for a moment. This was why she wouldn't have made it into Gryffindor, she decided: She was always too worried about the consequences to just take action. Well... Maybe it was worth a try, to see what would happen if she acted rashly. "I... I think I like the idea... of us dating."
Cedric nodded his head in a bobbing sort of fashon before squeezing her hand comfortingly. "I like that idea too."
Feeling a bit more confident in herself, Cho looked up at him again and smiled with a little chuckle. "So... maybe we should... since we both like the idea."
Upon seeing the smile on Cho's face Cedric's own smile seemed to expand if it were possible. "That sounds good to me."
"Sounds good to me too..." It finally seemed to register that she didn't have to worry so much about what she did around Cedric, so with another smile she softly leaned her head against his shoulder.
It wasn't even their first date, but Cedric felt he had to do something. Something he'd been wanting to do the moment he first saw her. Ever. Cedric bit his lower lip a little bit before deciding he was going to follow through with what it was. He gently lifted his hand to her chin and tilted it upwards so she could look at him, and then he leaned forward and kissed her rather sauvely.
She wasn't sure what he was doing at first but when he kissed her it suddenly didn't matter. Cho's eyes slid closed and she began to kiss him back, not even caring that they were totally in the middle of the Hufflepuff common room. Kissing Cedric was more perfect than she had ever imagined it to be -- he tasted sweet, with spices tossed in here and there to create the perfect combination.
Cedric parted from the kiss a minute later and smiled softly. He felt like it had ended all too soon but...Something told him there would be plenty of kisses where he could taste her sweetness over and over. It was no joke either, Cho tasted like honey. Sweet.
Cho's face was a bit pink when she pulled back from the kiss. "That... was amazing..."
Cedric's lips twitched as he rose from the couch and then took hre hand in his. "Yeah I..." He trailed off. "I'll walk you to your Common Room."
Hey, maybe he'd be lucky and get a goodnight kiss. After all...
Honey and spices seemed to taste good.
