A common observation about America is that a very large number of citizens self identify as Christian of one flavour or another. In that sense, America is probably one of the most Christian nations in the modern world. Indeed, not only does the land of the free have Jesus as its personal saviour, it's busy trying to convince other people to do

Let's play pretend for a moment. Someone we'll call Y living in FFFF calls for the invasion and conversion to religion 3.6 of the United States. They defeat our military, ruin our economy, emasculate the men in front of the women and tell both that not only their leader but much of their way of life are wrong. And they start remaking us in their image. Poorly. And with tremendous civilian and cultural casualties. To make matters worse, much of their behavior seems hypocritical and or insulting. My guess is that if Canada and Mexico don't want to get formaly drawn into combat (potentialy sparking an all-out effort by FFFF rather than the current half-hearted one) they will never the less send people across the border incognito (special forces and spies) to disrupt FFFFs efforts. Why? Better to face them over there than back home in Mexico City or Toronto or whereever. And when Canada and Mexico are recruiting these volunteers to go across the border into the U.S. with its porous borders and propped up Gov't who will those recruiter's quote? They'll quote Y of course because Canada and Mexico won't want to be invaded and converted.
Then again, maybe we'll welcome FFFF as liberators.
I wonder every time I hear Coulter and similair morons espousing violence and (their understanding of)Christianity in the same breath how many of my brothers and sisters in the military have been wounded or killed because of one more recruit from Saudi Arabia, or Syria, or Pakistan who wants to defend his country from mad U.S. crusaders.
This nonsense won't end until those who truly love their countries and understand their religions get organized enough to put a stop to the violent simpletons... who claim to be serving their best interests.
I haven't slept as well the last 4 years as I did during the Clinton years.
