Happy Vacation You Filthy Animals!
I'm going on a vacation...I repeat...I am actually going to take a REAL vacation. Have not been on a real one in some time. Lets see there was Vegas in September of 2001 and crawling around in Mammoth Caves a year or so after that on the drive home to Ohio. Sure I've been home to Ohio here and there but that doesn't count as a real vacation. Going to go on my first cruise. WHOO HOOO!!
SO very Nice because I can leave right here from Tampa on the Royal Caribbean - Legend of the Sea.
Having not been on a cruise before I dont know what a big boat is like but this one is about 2100 people and the boat is just under 1000ft so I think thats a good size ship as far as I understand.
A week away from work and caring. All I have to do is eat, drink, relax....and zipline through the jungle of Belize, go tubing on a river through underground caves in Cosa Maya Mexica, Snorkel off of Grand Cayman...and whatever the hell I figure out to do in Cosumel Mexico. I cant freaking wait...just cant.
Found a hell of a deal the week right after Thanksgiving so I said...screwit!! Gonnadoit!
Now the only thing I have to do is get through until then. Ugh!! So far away it seems...I might need to take a small vacation prior to that. :) The one thing I must get between now and then is a video camera. Never had one of those either and I figure I would be am idiot to go without one. It will take me all that time anyways for me to do my feasibility study on video cameras, contemplate, procrastinate...and eventually buy one the day before departure only to find the model I decide on to be sold out. It always goes down like that. ;)
