Updating, and then I will accomplish something!

Well, I have actually accomplished a couple of things today. I made a list of things to work on, so that's good. I want to have different things for me to do between jobs to keep me motivated to work, darn it. And doesn't it feel good to cross something off of a list?

I neatened up part of my room, so that's a start.

I cleaned the bathroom, though the sink is still semi-plugged. Which is terribly frustrating!

I started to sew my project, but I am so dissatisfied with how it's coming out... I've put everything away to ponder on it for a bit. I think I might just have to get my darning cover out, and see if maybe I can guide it better? This project feels much more... Stiff than the last one. I'm not getting the nice curves that I need.

Basically, I need to take out almost everything that I just sewed.

I popped over to the library, to bring back some books and dvds that I had out, as well as pick up a hold. I thought it was going to be green lantern, but it turns out that I still haven't reserved that. Then there was supposed to be one in the library, but do you think that I could find it? No! I don't think I'll EVER get to see this film.

I also checked out 'Thor', and was surprised to see that I couldn't reserve it. Apparently, you can't reserve some blockbusters for six months after their release. But if that's the case, why are the two that are *supposed* to be at my local branch 'in transit'? How do you request them if you can't put a hold on them?

It's a mystery.

Well, it's nearly five, and I've put in a crummy day of work so far. I did get a few things done, so I don't feel too bad, but I'm going to have to decide what I'm doing with my sewing project. I set my machine up on my desk downstairs, which is where my Cintiq usually lives. If I can't use my machine to work on it, then I'll have to figure out something else, and set my Cintiq back up... And start animating things for my reel!

Which oughter be fun.

Off to the store to buy ingredients to make food!
