SNOW.
SO MUCH OF IT. I heard on the radio yesterday that we were supposed to get 15cm today and tomorrow, so I figured that if we shovelled our driveway yesterday to the pavement, it would make today's shovelling that much easier.
So we did.
Woke up this morning, looked outside, and realised that probably something like twenty centimetres fell last night, and our snowblower is broken. D: Luckily, our across the street neighbour used his snowblower to do our driveway and sidewalks, and then we went in behind him to scrape the rest of it up. He also took care of the road in front of our house to the corner of the street, so we could get out.
When I was knocking the snow off of the Jimmy, I was in snow up to my *knees*.
THEN WE WENT OVER TO fly_girl'S HOUSE AND DID HER DRIVEWAY.
And a couple more people showed up, one of whom helped, and the other stayed inside taking care of the white hot chocolate for us.
We managed to get most of the snow off of the driveway, until you looked down to where we had previously been... And saw the new covering of snow. MOTHER NATURE WINS. Then we came home, and admired the inch on our own driveway.
I firmly maintain that now I can say just how much I love snow, I've shovelled *so much* of it!
In other news, I'm really enjoying the extra credit videos over at the escapist.
And I've now seen all of the twilight films, with the rifftrax. THEY ARE WORTH IT. The first two especially, they were hilarious!!
Tonight, we hope to finish the Wii Mario. I hope that my sister and co. make it back into town alright... *fingers crossed*
