After sending out the feelers to see if anyone was still interested in going to Gally with me and finding out that everyone is basically broke, it feels like I should be doing the responsible thing here and also not go.

I guess I'll just keep saving money for next year, and let what I've saved for it right now be my emergency 'oh god I need rent/food!' fund.
At least this year I didn't buy the con membership in advance, and I'm not losing out on the fifty bucks.
I also haven't made the costumes I wanted to, there just never seemed to be time...
