Which really should be in it's own post, right? Any ones that I've missed/haven't seen or whatever, let me know. :D
Disney!
Of course the Disney stuff is all awesome, minus the Black Cauldron. That was terrible. I might as well
just link to the wiki entry, and talk about the ones that I really like.
Sleeping Beauty:
Maleficent is a fun bad guy, and I love her design. And the dragon at the end!
Uh, that's the end of the film. So spoilers if you haven't seen it yet?
Cinderella.
A classic.
Peter Pan. Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Robin Hood.
All great.
The Rescuers 1 and 2:
Miss Bianca is a little... Useless... But that's just the time, right? She does more things in Rescuers 2. I also always wanted a giant eagle.

Though Cody doesn't have an Australian accent. At all. Fail Disney, Fail.
Great Mouse Detective:
I want to see Sherlock Holmes, just because of this film. Well, and because Sherlock is cool, but I really liked Great Mouse Detective. And oh man, Rattigan! He's an awesome bad guy. Watson also isn't a complete bumbler, which is nice.

Little Mermaid:
Ursula is one of the best bad guys ever. Of all time.

C'mon, that voice?
Beauty and the Beast:
This was the film that made the Best Animation catagory at the Oscars, I believe. It was nominated for Best Picture, and next year they had a catagory for it.
The songs are great, the animation is amazing, and the story is also good. What more could you ask for?

I guess one of the things they did for Belle was get in a bunch of Ballet dancers, and asked them to dance for reference for the film. Then, as soon as the dancers went on break, all the animators started to sketch. Because they wanted Belle to move like a dancer, with that unconcious grace. You can see it in the beginning of this clip, how she places her feet.
Aladdin:
I think this one just gets better when you watch it when you're older, because you get more of Robin Williams jokes. This is also one of the first films I can remember that really combined a kids story with enough adult humour to keep the parents interested. Robin Williams is hilarious, but even though he brings in popular culture references, they don't really age. If that makes sense? He was a big name voice, but the film didn't hang on the fact that they got Robin Williams as the genie. *coughSharkTalecough*
Abu also isn't annoying, as the animal sidekick.

Also, Aladdin was the boyfriend from Full House. :)
The TV show was pretty good, as I recall.
Lion King:
It's Hamlet! With very catchy songs, and a feeling of time passing, which I am convinced is part of why this movie is so great. Everything doesn't happen in a week, it takes part of a lifetime. Lion King 2 was... alright... And I don't think I ever saw Lion King 1/2.
This one is amazing. I can remember copying lion king pictures, wanting to be able to draw like that. Oh, and the extra songs they put in there? Skip them. Morning report is awful. Unnecessary.

Hilariously, this one doesn't have any of the protagonists in it, but I really love this song.
Hunchback of Notre Dame:
Rewatching this one, I really enjoyed Phoebus. It's nice to see an adult in a Disney film, because they are usually filled with teenagers. Or kids. I am also less fussed with the gargoyles than I was when I was a kid, but I guess that's just the perils of growing up.

Also, Frolo's song. Tony Jay can apparently singgggg. And Esmerelda is also a hottie, which is also nice for a Disney film.
OH GOD, and the fabric! It's mindblowing.
Hercules:
I love the music in Hercules! Though you can't take *anything* they say as someting true to the myths. XD

Also, the short Muse just happens to be
Bubby, from Flapjack.
(ALSO AMAZING, CHECK IT OUT.)
Mulan: Great music, great characters. Ignore the sequel, it was terrible.
Tarzan: OH GOD his muscles. I'm not as big a fan of the music in this as most people, I don't know why. *shrug* But still spectacular.
Emperor's New Groove:
I love this one. Very few songs, but still snappy and fun. Also, no love story, which is weird for a Disney film.

Izma is also an awesome bad guy!
Lilo & Stitch:
cute, with fun designs. Lilo isn't your typical hero either, so that's nice. Though I did have a problem (as I've said before) that Jumba, the man who had the free choice to create things, and who chose to create a being who was only capable of doing evil, would go free after capturing the creature who had no choice but to be what he was, and do what he was programmed to do. I was so excited in the theatre, because I wanted them to *deal* with the issues that they chose to raise. How can you punish someone for being what he is genetically compelled to be? You might as well charge a lion for murdering anteloppe. e___e
Anyway. Still fun.
Bolt:
Cute film, though Bolt's head is *huuuuuge* when you compare it to the torso of the girl in the film.
I especially like the animation during the end credits.
Princess and the Frog:
Not quite an instant-classic, but I'm really pleased that Disney's gone and made a new 2D feature. :)
(Any that I didn't mention, I don't have a huge atatchment to. Others might have different favourites.)
Pixar.
Pretty much all of their films.
LINNNNK The only one I wasn't really fussed on was Cars, since that felt like a really typical film. Though I did really like the sequence where they're driving across the countryside, since that feels *just like* driving a long distance trip when you're enjoying getting to where you're going.

Wall-E is *fantastic*, I really liked it. This is one that had main characters using pantomine and it worked. It is also amazing for... Everything.

Sort of Disney.
Suprisingly, the Brave Little Toaster was released by Disney. There is one scene in there that no one ever seems to remember. I think it was usually cut out of the film, when you saw it on TV. It's especially fun to watch the song where the new appliances make fun of how retro Toaster is.

Dreamworks animation.
Oh! Road to Eldorado!

Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branaugh, and *amazing* animation. Look at that hair!! And I love the character designs. And they're obviously in love with each other. <3.
Sinbad was... Almost good, too. (Now I'm just going through the pre-3D movies that Dreamworks put out.) It had pirates, but the plot just didn't quite work right. You didn't really care.
I honestly have to see the Prince of Egypt again, but I remember it being good. Grand. Though their incredibly far apart nipples do distract, sometimes. Skip the sequel, Joseph King of Dreams. It is a *classic* example of how to not do a film. Songs should advance the story in some way, not just be a song. There are too many songs.
Prince of Egypt:

*I* liked Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, but I like horses. There's very little talking in the film, since the horses don't talk to each other. Matt Damon, I believe, is the narrator. They tried something different, and it kind of failed.
Though I don't really remember a lot of this film to choose my favourite part, so have someone else' favourite clip.

For the 3D ones:
Shrek 1 was well thought out and put together. The second one was okay, the third one was just milking the characters. Pretty much. And there's a four coming out too. P:
I liked Kung Fu Panda, I really liked the style and animation. Though there were some problems with the story (how long did Jack Black get to train? How far away did the super kung fu animals go?) and I wasn't fussed on the ending, I still enjoyed it. I really liked how the animals moved, it felt more like animals than humans. If that makes any sense. The designs were neat too! (Though I don't like the snake design.)

I'm looking forward to 'How to Train your Dragon', though!!

Awesome. I loved Wallace and Gromit. The shorts are amazing. The film was pretty good too, but I really did like the shorts.

This one just blows my mind. I remember when it came out on DVD, we were watching the special features and one of the model makers was saying how 3D was supposed to put things like stop motion out of business. And then this one was made, and it's fantastic!
I haven't seen Flushed Away yet, but I would like to. I hear it isn't as good as their other films, but...
Not actually Aardman, but another stop-motion one, Robbie the Reindeer!

This is a Christmas special, or rather 2 of them, that are awesome. Don't watch the American voice over, it's pretty much just ridiculous. Plus, then you'd have to listen to Brittany Spears 'acting'. FAIL.
Also, there are a few 'risque' bits in there that they cut out when I saw it on CBC, but are on the DVD. n__n
Warner Brothers.
I HAVE TO SEE SO MANY MORE LOONEY TUNES. But here are awesome ones. (Not movies, but still fun.)

As a teacher pointed out, all the lines from this short apparently come from the Rover Boys books, which he described as terribly boring, but still very well known. We don't know they anymore, so now it's hilarious for a completely different reason.

I liked Cats Don't Dance, though it never seemed to catch the attention of the public. Most of the people I know saw it because of a teacher talking about how good it was.

It's a Warner Brothers film, where they took their own particular animation style, and applied it to other characters and stories. There are a whole bunch of caricatures of old Hollywood actors in the film, as well.
PLUS, it's Captain Archer singing and dancing.
Iron Giant was also really good! I think it was Vin Diesel's first acting role. It was unfortunately not promoted well? Or something? Because Quest for Camelot has bombed earlier (because it is a bad movie) and the company... Didn't want to promote Iron Giant? Fun fact, it was directed by Brad Bird, who you might know from such films as The Incredibles.

One thing that my teacher who worked on this liked to talk about was that they set up the time that this was in so simply, with Sputnik going by in the foreground at the very beginning of the film (and the trailer I have here) but... I don't actually know what Sputnik looks like. So I missed that.
The character designs in this film are all really neat.
Don Bluth Films.
Ahhhh, Don Bluth. You made so many of the films in my childhood, and even then, I noticed you RE-USING the same character design for your prince. Anyway. Here are his films, the ones that I remember.
Land Before Time:
IGNORE all of the sequels, the first one is the only one that counts. I don't think there are actually any songs in this one, and who doesn't love dinosaurs?
I admit, I have to see this one again. It's been a while. But it's darker than most animated films.
This is the best I could find. Everything else is just recording off of the TV.
Fievel goes west, An American Tail
I saw Fieval goes west before I saw the original, so... I always liked the later one better. The original is much darker, like, colour wise. Though there are no cats in America!

Also, John Cleese was in this one, and is awesome.

Charlie is a rascal, which is nice.

Anastatia
I *loved* Anastatia as a kid. I didn't notice the resemblence between the Prince in Thumbelina and Dimitri. I guess because I wasn't too fond of Thumbelina?

The songs are cool, and the story that they show is fun.
I also really like Rasputin's song in it, In the Dark of The Night. Couldn't find a good clip to link to, though.
Titan AE:
I admit it, I was a *little* disapointed with Titan AE. I wanted to see more of the human civilisation, or something, out among the stars. It felt like this should have had a huge world building universe, and it just didn't quite work. But there were some cool things in there too. (I'm getting a bit tired of writing this, sorry.) I was also really disappointed that the song in the trailer was never in the film. Was it higher? I can't ever remember now!

Secret of Nimh.
This one is really good, Don Bluth at his best, I think. It's easy to find now, and usually fairly cheap. I don't know why it didn't do better in the box offices, I think it didn't have a great reception.

None the less, definitely recommended.
Rock and Rule.
This one is something for the animation buffs, because it's not really good... So much as historic. If only it had been good! Then Nelvana would have made their own properties, instead of becoming a work studio for the states. And animation up here in Canada would be so different!
Have some Mok.

Thief and the Cobbler.
This one has an interesting story attatched to it. It was Richard Williams' epic masterpiece that he funded by himself for like, it's first fifteen years of life, or something. After his sucess on Roger Rabbit, he was able to get a studio to buy it, and he could finish it with help.
Then he blew the deadline (who didn't see that coming?) and the studio took it away from him, through out half the drawings (it had been on mostly 1s before, twice as long to shoot), added in some songs, and there you go.

So this one would likely be the version that you saw, if you ever saw it. I remember this coming out, and thinking that ZigZag looked like the genie, and that this movie had copied Aladdin. It didn't! The character designs for this film had been set *for ever*.
Someone put together a 'recobbled' cut of it, which tries to keep the original spirit alive. Neither title character actually speaks, for instance. I haven't seen this, but here it is.
There is also the 'workprint', which is what Richard Williams had before he went to the studio.

One of the things that needs to be said... There are some definite pacing problems with this film. The sequence in the end, to get the three balls for instance, is far too long. Bit of animation history for you.
Wizards
I caught this on Space once, and the tracking was weird on the TV, so all I really remember is that by the end, I felt like I wanted to throw up from watching. But I also enjoyed it... And liked the ending. I should find this one again!

The film. Don't even bother. It's terrible. He just doesn't *shut up!!!!* I'm not even going to find a clip.
Rock A Doodle.
ALSO TERRIBLE. There was no size comparison chart, so the characters always change sizes. Noticably. D:
Thumbelina
Ahhhh dear me. Not one I actually recommend, but it is the source of that slightly infamous spinning scene. They're so happy! And in love! Look! They're spinning, doesn't that show it??

Okay, it happens *sometime* during this clip. I'm pretty sure.
It is also one of the first ones that he rotoscoped, I do believe.

HEY I LIKED THESE ONES.
My Little Pony movie.
I know the voices can be a little harsh to listen to now, but I still love this one. It's got three stories that run at the same time. The ponies trying to deal with the smooze, the little pony and Spike who've run away, and the witches who are trying to get their mother to be proud of them.

The He-Man and She-Ra film
TERRIbLE TOO. No way to deny that. But this has a place in my heart. Even though He-Man and She-Ra have a weird relationship going on that people always think is romantic until I tell them that the characters are twins. D:

A music video.
I always maintain that She-Ra's story could have been really cool. Kidnapped as a baby, raised in the Fright Zone, where all she knew about life was training to command troops for the Horde. Then she goes into the world, and she finds out that everything she has been taught is wrong.
C'mon, doesn't that sound cool? What if she didn't have a stupid super hero name?
AND THAT IS IT.
I... Forgot about Miyazaki. D:
