THERE IS A GOD.

When we were trying to get our internet working again, we had to see if we had actual internet. So I plugged the internet cable directly into my computer, and set up a network that way. AND IT KEPT TRYING TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET THROUGH THAT, even though it was ALREADY connected to the internet through wireless.

Whyyyyyyyy???

Solution! Just navigate to your 'manage network connections' window, and DELETE THE STUPID THING. Voila!

Quick update... We walked along college, all the way out to Spadina, and through Kensington market a bit. It was a lot of fun, there were neat things everywhere. And I found a knitting shop that has scads of bamboo double pointed needles! Next pattern I do, I'll use those. (I think I want to try to make a pair of socks... After knitting my jumper.)

We also looked at bikes. I kind of want one, but then we'll have to store it, and I'm also a little nervous to ride on the road. *shrug* Not really an option right now anyway, but still. I'd forgotten how fun it was to get to places fast, and with less effort.

And I've had a couple of weird dreams the past few days. gishkishenh, you'll like this morning's....

I dreamt that (FOR SOME REASON), Batman went to an alternative reality. There his parents didn't die, and Bruce Wayne grew up to be a jerk. A useless, feckless jerk.

Batman was horrified, and didn't reveal who he was. I think he was eventually going to get Bruce Wayne to reform and make something of himself, but I woke up before the dream got that far.

It did involve DNA testing, for some reason. And alt!Bruce Wayne was beginning to suspect that Batman was someone he knew, so alt!Bruce was gathering fingerprints.

How you get fingerprints through gloves, I can not tell you. But he was doing it. He has the potential to be Batman!! Of course he could do it!

Two nights ago, I had a dream about a war, with dinosaurs as some of the participants. They also had laser cannons that they could shoot, mounted to their backs. Not permanently, but pretty solidly. I was riding on a dinosaur that realised that it could fly, if only it had enough height. So we jumped off of a cliff, and it glided for a goodly distance before skimming under the water and then continuing that way.

And I was coo' with all of that, and didn't drown. If only!

I am so close to being finished my second wrist warmer, it's amazing. I've got to knit eight more rows, bind it off, knit the thumb gusset, and then weave in the ends.

I'm really excited to have finished! This is seriously the most complicated pattern I've done yet.

After this, I'm totally returning to my cricket sweater. Heh. Heheheh. We'll see if I can make one
up!!
