it’s a wonderful feeling
being able to call credit card companies and tell them that since my balance is down to $0 that I would like to cancel the card. and follow through with it. have to admit though that the offer of a 7.7% interest rate was rather appealing - but not having the temptation in my wallet was even nicer.

happy hour bartending
Gonna actually be working outside of my normal schedule at nellies - gonna be bartending this thursday’s (and possibly friday’s) happy hour. swing by the bar and keep me company! i’ll be there pretty much the entire evening - from 5pm til close.

hot off the press…
thankfully things have been quiet of late. we’re not in seminar-mode anymore at the office, so things are slowing down a bit - my god-awful office mate is being moved out of the glorified broom-closet we share to another spot at the Center for her.

fourteen days later…
i’ve gained about five pounds… but i’ve smoked nary a ciggie. now it’s time for me to get back on the treadmill with a vengeance (arthritic knee notwithstanding) to get rid of that pudge - oh yeah… and eating properly again. *sighs* why isn’t anything easy?
