haha, okay, i kind of have to agree with bri on this; but i loved the luke/leia reference (zomg star wars = life), and the thought merlin!sam made me laugh (and contemplate rereading "old country"), so i can't complain. my first thought was basically "yeah, so apparently they are screwing with canon horribly; what's new?" which seems to sum up what you described of this show. merlin? seriously? they already did robin hood, so i guess they're going even further back into british mythstory.

*sighs* i haven't been watching pru's journal at all. i imagine the fic is good though.
