So, Ancient and Worshipful Law of Gallifrey: a book used to imprison Time Lord Criminals. Plot bunnies, anyone?? ETA: It sends them to Shada, Time Lord prison planet. Thus, episode title.

Okay, so, Romana and the Doctor? Totally used to sleep together. Possibly with Koschei. Possibly they still occasionally do.

OMFG his ship has a crush on the Doctor HAHAHAHAHA!!!! And Skagra is tortured by having to hear his ship eternally going on and on about how AWESOME the Doctor is THAT IS THE BEST PUNISHMENT EVAR!! I *LOVE* that. The ship is all “Ooo, the Doctor did such wonderful things to my circuitry. Let me tell you alllll about him, because he is sooo great…” and Skagra’s all “NOOOOOOO!!!”
That’s what I love about Romana and the Doctor. They have this great vibe of not only being friends (the Doctor has that with most all his companions, obviously), but of being *old* friends. Romana knows the Doctor in a way NO ONE else does, the “I knew you when you were ten years old, you great horrible scamp, and I can read you like a book.” And it’s awesome. ^__^
This episode was great, and it was so nice to hear it from a current perspective, because it’s a story about Gallifrey, and Gallifreyans, and no one is like “Oh noes Time Lords!!” it’s more like “Bloody nuisance Time Lords >.< Do not want!” And then it made me really sad because, now, there ARE no Time Lords, or Gallifrey, and we all miss them so!! Come back, Time Lords, WE MISS YOOOUU!! Even if you are annoying pompous old baggages. Except you, Romana, you're amazing. It was nice to have someone around that was all "Do advanced science/day-saving? Repair the TARDIS? Fly the TARDIS? No prob, Doctor's not the only Time Lord around, y'know."
P.S.-RTD, if you bring Romana back before you go, I WILL DO A HAPPY FANGASM DANCE OF JOYYYY!!! *wibbly eyes of pleading*
P.P.S. -Douglas Adams, I have never been a real huge fan of HHGttG or whatever the acronym is, but this story? ROCKED. I WUV YOU NOW MISTAH ADAMS, why’d you have to go and die before you could write for New Who? *is sad*
