The Chair (2007)

So this is a movie about a young woman, a psychology student, who, like most students presently going through college, suddenly has about an assload of cash tying her down and decides to blow it all (or maybe not all, just enough to pay rent, pfft) on moving into and furnishing a giant ancient house. Now, from an outside perspective this looks shady as fuck, but I'm sure it's because I'm not a "rich person" and I don't have an "expendable income", especially not enough to let any member of my family rent or own a giant house for however long they have left in their no doubt expensive college life.

So yeah, already side-eyeing this immense pile of garbage. But whatever, it's fiction. Crazy bitches can be as rich as they want in fiction.

So then there's the body-possessing ghost she has to worry about, like as if her life isn't already completely screwed, what with the getting into and attending a nice college and having enough money left over to live in a really nice house and have all the nice clothes and gadgets that she could ever want, you know, to replace the ones she bloodies and ruins in the process of getting possessed and killing her family and friends and stalking neighborhood kids, but that's pedophilic torture ghosts for you.

The main character spends the majority of the film going through the various steps of being possessed, that is to say, eating cat food, killing and torturing her family and friends, stalking and kidnapping children, eating cat food. Seriously this bitch eats like fourteen cans of cat food THAT WE GET TO SEE, and who knows how many more after that.

Seriously just don't watch this titanic piece of garbage.

Ending this on a slightly more negative note, I had to look up 'pedophilic' to make sure I was spelling it right because the spell checker was being a cunt and telling me it wasn't a word, so if there's a sudden sex crime in my neighborhood and they check out my computer, I might be going to jail.
