I always thought Herons just ate frogs and fish, cuz ya know, that is all you ever see pictures of.

Casu marzu is a cheese made in Sardinia, Italy, that's special because it's full of fly maggots. Nom nom nom! The flybabies decompose and soften the cheese [hence it's also called rotten cheese].
