Would you by chance also be referring to the other wtf_nature post of basically the "frog" babies? Cause those are pretty frightening too.

Yeah, the baby without eyes and the anecephaly entry both. It is today's theme, apparently. I'm not asking for the entries to be removed, or anything; it's just a bit odd.

I took a genetics class in college, and between what we studied there and my uncle the genetic counseler having discussions with me, I've come to the conclusion that it's a goddamned miracle that people get born at all, what with the sheer number of stuff that will be spontaneously aborted if it occurs. The number of people who get born with more or less the right parts in more or less the right places is even more astounding.
