These littered the beach at Ft. Myers. I had a few thoughts to what they might be, egg clusters for some animal, a type of coral/anemone, or a type of seaweed, but I am not sure though. You take a guess.

I live near Fort Myers... O_o

I've seen one of these, too, and it was also rather stiff and heavy.

The bottom one looks like some sort of egg sac, but I'm not sure. Maybe a sea slug...?

I dunno, it kinda looks like a few conch snails and the like that I've seen, once removed from their shells. They had a similar texture, anyway.
