I have no idea what this is...
These littered the beach at Ft. Myers. I had a few thoughts to what they might be, egg clusters for some animal, a type of coral/anemone, or a type of seaweed, but I am not sure though. You take a guess.
This one looks like a strawberry.
This one also has half of a scallop shell attached to it on the left.

These look squishy and gelatinous, but they were rather hard and rubbery, and also very dense and somewhat heavier than you'd imagine from looking at the pics.
