A list of missions that can be completed by cadets and SeeDs inside and around Balamb Garden.

Important: At least one mission out of each rank must be completed before the cadet may accept a mission of the next highest rank. Ex: In order to accept a Rank 2 mission, the cadet must have already completed a Rank 1 mission. SeeDs already in-game may begin at Rank 11 and work up.

(Note: Mission ranks have nothing to do with SeeD ranks and are only used to classify mission difficulty.)

More missions will become available as the game progresses.

Additionally, missions may be completed an infinite number of times unless specified otherwise. Missions that may only be completed once are on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be marked with a complete symbol (✔) when they've been carried out. These missions will be replaced as they are completed so that two missions of each rank remain active at any given point in time.

Mission 1: Extra Hot Dog!

• Location: Balamb Garden Cafeteria
  
• Requested by: Hungry Boy
  
• Objective: Sneak an extra hot dog out from under the cafeteria worker's nose. Return the extra hot dog to Hungry Boy. Getting caught by the cafeteria worker will result in having to wash the dishes for the night.
  
• Reward: He trades his potato chips to you. Woo hoo free potato chips.

Mission 2: Get My Card Back!

• Location: Balamb Garden 2nd Floor Hall
  
• Requested by: Bullied Girl
  
• Objective: Find the bully who stole this girl's Buel Card and get it back. Return the card to the girl. Getting beat up by the bully because you were too weak/spineless will result in......getting beat up by the bully because you were too weak/spineless.
  
• Reward: She offers you a free Bomb Card

Mission 3: Get 4 Potions!

• Location: Balamb Garden Infirmary
  
• Requested by: Dr. Kadowaki
  
• Objective: Obtain 4 potions from various Garden NPCs (or they can just go up to other player characters and ask if they have potions idc) and bring them back. There is no penalty, really, though taking a long time will lead to a lecture from Dr. Kadowaki.
  
• Reward: Potion x1

Mission 4: Find My Book!

• Location: Balamb Garden Library
  
• Requested by: Head Librarian
  
• Objective: Find the trashy romance novel she accidentally stocked into one of the library's shelves. No real penalty except the librarian's cold shoulder treatment.
  
• Reward: Library card (not part of Triple Triad, just means the cadet may check books out and take them back to the dorms for the night; this mission is very helpful for exams)

Mission 21: Funguar Invasion!

• Location: Mandy Beach (close to Timber)

• Objective: Control the Funguar population on Mandy Beach that have been moving up the beach and wandering dangerously close to Timber's edge. Push the population of monsters back down the beach toward the edge of the shoreline.
  
• Reward: 20 Confuse spells, +2 to SeeD Rank

Mission 22: Protect the Politician!

• Location: Deling City
  
• Requested by: Astuvan Trobalt, a commissar of Galbadian government
  
• Objective: Act as Trobalt's bodyguard as he pays his monthly visit to his "friend" across the city. One SeeD will be required to stay behind and act as a body double so as not to arouse suspicion for his absence. Another SeeD will accompany him and ensure he is not recognized or worse, injured.
  
• Reward: +2 to SeeD Rank
  This mission may only be completed once. (As it's monthly, it'll be able to be completed again next month.)
