(no subject)
I was having the best dream this morning when my alarm clock, naturally, went off right when things were going to get interesting. I was so pissed off. Not cool. I tried to get back to sleep, but no dice. So, I've been left all day thinking about what would have happened next. Grrrr.
Know what else isn't cool? Jury duty. I got my first summons yesterday. I think I jumped up and down in anger when I saw the envelope. My mom laughed at me. I'm going to try and get out of it, I think. I don't get paid time off here, I can't afford to take the day and spend it in El Cajon, thank you. I'll talk to dad, he never goes.
Anyway. I'm getting a new phone today. It's gotten to the point I can't deal with my piece of crap anymore. The phone itself functions fine, even if the screen is a little wobbly. But the battery is just shot to hell. It'll be fully charged, then I'll have a five minute conversation, and then it'll die on me. If I break down on the side of the road, I'm screwed. Besides, the thing is four years old. I haven't bought a new one before this because I'm still on my parents plan and mom wouldn't let me unless I got my own plan. And now that I have a job and a means of paying for it, I'm finally going to get a new phone. I've been trying to decide what I want... I have Verizon and I'm trying to decide if I just want a normal flip phone or if I really need one with a keyboard. The flip phone would be a lot cheaper, but... hmmmm. I don't know. I'll have to actually fiddle with them to find out.
As for politics, yea for the national election and boo to California. Seriously. Fraking state, I hate you.
