For those of you that have not seen it on Facebook or Myspace yet....I'M ENGAGED!!!!!
Ok, so I'm shouting it from the (apartment) roof tops, but I'm waaaay too excited to sleep at a time like this!!!
Brandon proposed to me today! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

It was perfect how he asked...except that he did it right after we finished watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Dick Wolf is a nasty nasty man). After we were watching the bonus features (we're big fans of Marishka Hargitay) we were snuggling in bed and he was telling me how much he loves me (and I him) and pulled out the ring and asked me. Of course, we both started crying instantly...but it was still romantic. Then he got on his knee and put the ring on my finger....It just all feels so right!
And yes, I know some of you are thinking 'Holy cow, they've only been living together and dating each other for 6 months!' but when it feels right, it just does, and I hope you get to know that feeling some day.
We are, however, planning a long engagement. And by a long engagement, I mean like 3 years. We want to get married in a garden and we want it to be somewhere near Lansing.
This is just all part of a bigger plan...and I can't wait for it all to come into view!
