I've done the blog thing and done it well. It's fine and good and for my career it's definitely something that I'll always need. That said, I miss this place - this livejournal. There was something to be said for the genuine friendships that I formed here. I don't think livejournal will ever be what it once was. In its prime, it was such a vibrant and active community.
Community.
I guess that's what I long for. I really miss the sense of an online community. I have twitter, although no one ever talks to me on there anymore, which is HONESTLY fine. I have facebook, but people just annoy me there.
I just am feeling nostalgic, I suppose.
