This is beautiful. I, I had to reread it three times. Picking my favorite part would be .... almost impossible. Call me crazy (since we've only commented on each other's comments and this is possibly an overshare), but I appreciated this one in the way that I did because of how well I can relate to it. You see, lately I've been using my own Sparrabeth fic to cope with my cold feet (I'm engaged, and about to be married, very soon). I'm my own Lizzeh-muse, and my Jack-muse is an ex-flame who came back into my life at exactly the wrong moment (and I am currently behaving myself), and my soon-to-be? I never thought he'd end up in the Will role (but who ever expects that?), never thought he'd end up resenting me because I never wanted as a child, or because I'm impulsive and free-spirited. Still, these things happen ... The feeling of suffocation, of debt and debt and debt until one day a nail will finally slide into his coffin, is enough to choke his affection and render him blandly amiable at best. Yes, yes, yes!

Anyhow, I won't rant, but I had to share with you exactly how on the head you hit this nail, and wonder if you don't have some experience yourself? XD
