Almost daily, I see posts of worried mothers (on Facebook) that ask other moms if it is "ok" to put a pink shirt on a boy or to let a girl play soccer...
Come on, really? In the year 2016, I thought that we would be ready for boys with colored toe nails and girls that play rather with cars than with dolls.
It is important for kids to learn how to think out of the box, isn't it? So why restricting them to the "only for girls-toys" or "blue shirts are only for boys" ways of thinking?
These are my 3 sons: Neal (3 years), Dexter (3 years - yes, they are twins) and Joseph (one year). And guess what? They LOVE to steal their sisters' doll strollers and they actually have been playing much more with her Barbies than she did in the past 4 years (she is 6 years old).
Sorry for the short post, but this was on my mind and needed to be "said" ;)
Have a great day!
