Does my character have to BE the writer? can my character meet another character that's a writer? LOL? (as long as writing is the focus of the story?)

*edit* You can still answer this for other people, but I started writing this and it's going to be much over 500 words... ah ha :'D

Short answer: Yes.

Longer answer: Since you're writing it, they're all your characters (whether you made them up or not). So, as long as there's some writing involved somehow, you're good.

Awesome. I think I'm okay. Things got kind of weird in my 2nd fic, but I think it still works. LOL

And there he is at the other side of the room, naked at his laptop, fingers darting over the keyboard.

“Ben!”

He turns, frowning. “Sorry I woke up and felt inspired.”

“Maybe next time leave the bedroom, yeah?”

I really liked both of these.

In the first one, first off, I'm a complete sucker for Mumford and Sons, and I LOOOOVE that song, so you had me straight away. (LOL) Also I loved the descriptions of the words relationships to each other and the page. Completely awesome!!

In the second one, the time period immediately pulled me in, and the subtle romance of the story. I could really feel how she wanted to keep writing, but also wanted to dance. Well done :)
