Dollhouse partie deux

So my final assessment of Dollhouse: good, sometimes great, but not amazing.

I'm not disappointed in the show, but I'm disappointed that I wasn't amazed. Not sure that makes any sense, but there you have it. I'll keep watching it, probably, but I'm not addicted. It doesn't have me held the way Heroes (pre-writer's strike) did at one time. I'm done with season one, and I'm not dying to see season two. If I had season two on dvd, I'm not sure I'd even put it in right now. *shrug*

I really enjoyed Alan Tudyk's performance as Alpha, and I'm glad that he's still around for the follow-up season. I liked the twist that Dr. Saunders was a doll. I want to know what's going to happen to Victor, with his face being all slashed now, because I really like him. Echo...I like Eliza Dushku, and I like the character, but she seems like more of an unknown entity sometimes. Is it because she's had so many different personalities that it's hard to latch onto her and really like her? I don't know.

And just because it's bothering me.... Has anyone else noticed that Eliza Dushku has no hips? This is something I noticed back in the Buffy days, but it's really evident with some of the outfits they've given her on this show. I pointed it out to my husband (who thinks she's hot), and now he's generally bothered by it, too. It's like her body has no definition below the ribcage. She has no butt. Not that it matters. LOL.
