The kitchen floor was cold, even though Tony promised it had under floor heating. Like everything in Stark Tower, Loki was told, it was "start of the art", "top of the range". These Midgardian terms were supposed to mean that the technology was advanced but, from Loki's point of view, they weren't.
It wasn't just that the floor was cold, it was hard, solid. It hurt to move, and Tony wasn't helping. The pain was a dull pain he could ignore, but it was sort of ruining the moment.
Any pain was worth it, he decided, for Tony loved him.
