The bash was for Thor. It always was as far as Loki was concerned. He'd never outright win his own soiree. He'd never win the acceptance of their father. The thought crossed his mind time and time again has he looked around the room watching everyone enjoying themselves; stuffing their fat faces and dancing in their ridiculous way. He was already too bitter. He'd let them enjoy their night, enjoy their stupid party for his idiot brother. The battle was hardly glorious from his memory of it. Still, his time would come. He'd simply ruin it for him next time.
