It was raining. Again.
This is LA, she thought. It's not supposed to rain here. It's always supposed sunny.
And yet, the weather perfectly described how she felt.
She wanted to move away from LA. Too many bad memories had been made there. Greg had died a week ago, she'd lost her job, and even her friends had started to distance themselves from her.
She needed to move far, far away. Preferably to somewhere where it didn't rain all the time.
But if it rains in LA, where the sun always shines, then it rains everywhere.
