The smallest things make me happy...
Anyone in the military would probably think I'm out of my mind right now, but I am SO excited to have an actual MRE for dinner tonight! LOL! I've been fascinated by the concept of MRE's since first reading SB's SEAL books, and I was so excited my aunt told me she had some. Apparently, some National Guardsmen were passing them out earlier today.
I picked Thai Chicken. It's so cute! And I was so impressed with the range of things that came in it. There is the chicken, yellow and wild rice pilaf, peanut butter and crackers, nut raisin mix, french vanilla cappucino, and even a little "goodie package" with Tabasco, Taster's Choice coffee, chewing gum, and other condiments. They even have little wipes!
You'd think I was having dinner at Emeril's or something. I'm just too excited to have my Meal, Ready to Eat.
