More poor LJ has been sorely neglected these last few weeks, and I miss reading about what's happening in everyone's lives. Hopefully, once things have died down, I can return to LJ-land.
I've been drowning in revisions since returning from Nationals and still have a few weeks before the m'script will be ready for Silhouette. Let's hope Silhouette is ready for the m'script. :) Have a few things out with agents, got a rejection from Avon today, and will continue to mail it out starting tomorrow.
I still hate the job, and it's getting progressively worse everyday--if murder were not a sin, my boss would be dead. It's definitely time to kick the rich husband search into high gear. This work thing is just not for me. I've cut gorgeous and good hygenine off the list. I'm ready to settle for marginally cute and bathes semi-regularly.
Loss another family member to cancer on yesterday. This time my great aunt.
Still working on getting Mama to get healthy. She has to schedule surgery for her sleep apnea. She took the test last Friday, and was awakened only two hours into it after experiencing more than 30 episodes of not breathing for 10 seconds or more. (The sleeping portion of the test usually last for four hours, but it was more than apparent she had a severe case).
