Last week I went to the Engine Shed for coffee with someone writing up his thesis in theology. The cafe is a large room with several baby chairs at the back. I got a cafetiere of coffee. My friend gave me a chapter of his thesis to read. I feel quite familiar with his thesis since I have previously read another chapter. It makes a change from my own research focus. I also cooked a meal for three - vegetarian lasagne. This was quite enjoyable but involved a lot of chopping, frying and washing up. I might see if I can get my DVD player to work this weekend.
