What are you all working on these days? Writing? Editing? Publishing? Have you started anything new? Received any interesting feedback? Had any breakthroughs or stumbles? How goes the progress on your current work? Give us the details!

I have written frak-all for about a month now. I've done a bunch of nit-picking on smaller pieces, and gotten some really great feedback on things with which I personally wasn't satisfied, which felt really good.

So basically, I keep trying to write, and getting nowhere. Urgh.

Yeah, that happens. Near the end of novel or no, I'm spinning my wheels today, feeling incredibly futile and frustrated. You'll get there. :)

I hate the wait. I'm addicted to writing now, so when it doesn't happen, I get really cranky. lol

I know doing a lot of little things can feel a lot less satisfying than making bigger and more continuous strides, but I think we all get into those slumps :/ I hope the inspiration comes back for you soon.

Hmm. Good point. Maybe it would help for me to look at it that way. I have been able to write in very, very small bits, so I should reframe my feelings about that.

Ugh. Those times are hard. Maybe the muse is tired or needs a change. It will come back. I think we've all experienced that very feeling. ((HUGS))

Maybe she's getting tired of making up ways for K/L to frak and wants some for herself. Or maybe she's tired of the two of them altogether. :/

I can't write them at all anymore. They always hurt and make me mad and I feel done. I love them deeply, but their journey and mine have parted ways. *sigh*

I really hope that's not it. I'm not done with them yet. Nobody else has made me want to write about them so much, not even my original characters.

I understand where you're coming from, though. I've felt that way about other things.

It took a long time and a lot of words for that to happen, so maybe it's just a pause. Writing other things might make you crave them. It did for me a few times. I hope your muse decides to cooperate soon! <3
