Happy two month birthday to us!
We were born two months ago, today. Time flies! *throws confetti* So! What have we been up to?
James:
James is already getting big for some of the 0-3 clothing. Mom and Dad have been washing the 3-6 month clothing to be prepared for it - probably a week or so from now.
About a week ago, James was lying in the rocker with a concerned look on his face. Mom started the mobile above him, and James started grinning a HUGE grin as his eyes followed the little lambs and stars around.
David:
David can still wear some of the very biggest Newborn sized clothing, but is pretty solidly in the 0-3 month clothes. Though David is almost the same length as James and has a slightly larger head, he's just got a smaller overall frame.
A little over a week ago, Dad had music playing beside the crib as we lay down to go to sleep, as he usually does. David started squeaking in time! In fact, David squeaked intermittently in time to the next few songs.
Both of us prefer the cloth diapers (BumGenius 4.0) to disposables, and thankfully Mom and Dad have been good about running the laundry often enough for us to get our wish. :) We only have to put up with those lame disposables every now and then.
Mom went back to work a week ago, though really she's still here at home (just in another room). We try not to cry too much during the work day. Thankfully, Dad keeps us fed, changed, and entertained. :)
As for our other admirers, Granny (Dad's Mom) comes to visit every Saturday. Grandmother (Mom's Mom) visits every Wednesday nights and Sunday, and usually here and there throughout the week. Gramps and Gangee (Mom's Dad and his wife) usually come by about once a week. What can I say? We're grandparent magnets. :D
